KEEPING IT ALIVE - Student World provides Live Internet Training

Published: 28th Sep 07

SkillsTrain's Live Internet Training is an essential and much valued part of the learning process, helping students to interact in realtime, allowing them to find immediate answersSkillsTrain Student World to things they're not certain of and giving them convenient and close contact with their tutors.

Throughout April 2007, SkillsTrain has held more Live Internet Training Sessions, and here's some of the feedback from students:

"I attended the Introduction to MSDOS. I found the Live Training session very helpful and interesting it was carried out at a good pace and was not too long as to make you lose interest and has improved my understanding of MSDOS commands. I enjoyed being able to interact within the session and found it especially helpful being able to connect with a remote host and input instructions on that system as I was being guided by the tutor. This was my first live training session but I have already booked another session and I look forward to participating in it. I would strongly recommend anyone who is considering taking one to go head."
- Mr A F(AN)

"I would like to thank the tutor for a job well done. I found the session very easy to follow under the tutor's guidance (even though she was worried one of us might wipe her whole drive !!) it made clear a couple of areas that I was having a slight problem with, so once again a big thank you to the tutor and I'm looking forward to booking my next session."
- Mr C M(PA)

"It was very fantastic. I found it very innovative and educational. Thank you very much."
- Mr M A(AC)

"I found it informative, easy to follow and look forward for more interactive training."
- Mr M H(AN) "I must admit that I found it interesting and fun. I discovered few pages/options, which I didn't use before and apart from that it was really professional. I felt almost like I was in the real class room. Thank You."
- Mr T K(AA)

"I found it very informative and the tutors very precise, I can't wait for the next session."
- Mr S A(AN)

"I found the whole experience very useful. I do believe that as we (the students) had navigated around the webpage beforehand it was very understandable. It was nice to be able to interact with the lecturer at any point. I would recommend Live Internet Training lectures to all students as there is always useful information they should be made aware of."
